Ok, so the video is a bit on the amateur side, but its always cool to watch supercars take on superbikes.
In this case, we’ve got a 731 horsepower Dodge Viper racing against a 164 horsepower Suzuki Hayabusa. There’s a definite weight advantage for the bike, but the Viper just has so many more ponies. Oh, did we mention that both vehicles are modified?
Enjoy!

According to the Detroit News, Chrysler’s board met today to decide the fate of some of their slower selling models. The word is that we’ll be seing an end to the PT Cruiser, Pacifica, and the Dodge Magnum. Ever since Chrysler’s new CEO Bob Nardelli took on his role at the company, there have been rumors that slow selling models, and overlapping models will be trimmed from the manufacturer’s portfolio. The three models who go the death sentence seem to foot this bill pretty well. The PT Cruiser has been a slow seller since its initial hype wore thin, the Pacifica crossover will overlap with a new vehicle to be released by Dodge, and the Magnum failed to live up to its promise of power, utility, and styling. All three models have seen sales drop an average of 30% this year alone.
Further rumblings from Chrysler headquarters in Auburn Hills suggest that more vehicles will be snuffed out too, specifically the Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger, Jeep Commander, and Dodge Dakota.
We just hope that as Chrysler embarks on a new era of its life, we’ll start to see some progressive thinking from them, and a renewed hope that the once proud automaker can regain its footing on the sales floor and in the hearts of the American people.
What are your thoughts on these developments?

Last week in Las Vegas, Chrysler revealed the production version of the Dodge Challenger to their dealers. As most corporate first-reveals usually go, there was likely a camera ban in effect. This obviously didn’t seem to stop one overly zealous attendee from snapping a couple of shots off with his phone cam.
The images are quite blurry and pixelated, no doubt due to the poor lighting, and low pixel count of the phone camera, but they should be enough to make your mouth water in anticipation for one of the hottest cars to come from Dodge since… well, their latest Viper… which pretty much just came out.
As you can tell by the pictures, Dodge did add a B pillar, which deviates from the original concept. The rumor is that Chevrolet will also be doing this to their Camaro, in order to make the chassis more rigid. It will ultimately make the car safer anyway.
