GM Confirms Hummer H3T Going Into Production
General Motors has released a press statement confirming that the Hummer H3T pickup truck will go into production and should be available for purchase by the third fiscal quarter of 2009. GM has invested $73 million into its Shreveport, Louisiana assembly plant to prepare for the production of the truck variant of its H3. The picture we’re displaying on this article is of the concept vehicle from 2003 with only 2 doors , but recent spy photos suggest that the production H3T will instead have a four door crew-cab configuration. While specific details of the new vehicle remain undisclosed, GM’s press release should fill you in on things we haven’t touched on yet. To read it, just make the jump.
